GRAHAM COUNTY – A Graham County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched at about 4:25 p.m. to a residence on Geronimo Lane on May 30 regarding a man who said he had discovered human bones at his home.
Upon arrival, the man informed the officer that he had been staying with a friend in Tucson for the last six months and had just returned home.
As he was unpacking his luggage, the man said an item fell from a pair of pants he removed, which he believed to be a human bone.
The officer inspected the item and declared it was just a piece of burned or decaying wood.
The officer then cleared the residence without anything further.
