SAFFORD — Gov. Katie Hobbs is scheduled to visit with local small business leaders and municipal partners at Thursday’s Safford Spring Festival Sponsor Dinner.

Her visit emphasizes the importance of small business contributions to community development in Graham County.

The event, hosted by the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by the Graham County Electric Coop Foundation and sponsored by Big Tex BBQ, will take place on Thursday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m., at The Venue and Vignette on Main.

The dinner serves as a prelude to the Safford Spring Festival, and the Governor accepted an invitation from the Chamber to provide an in-person update on her work for the people of Arizona.

The Governor’s visit underscores the state’s commitment to supporting local economies, cultural heritage, and the essential role of small businesses in Arizona’s economy.

Following the dinner, the Safford Spring Festival will take place on the Safford City Hall lawn, at 717 W. Main St., Friday and Saturday, April 26-27. The festival — a celebration of the wine, art and history of Southern Arizona — is an annual highlight for Safford residents and visitors.
