Festival of Trees returns to St. Rose of Lima Volunteer Hall after this year’s Light Parade in Downtown Safford. The theme is Emmanuel: God With Us.

The event opens Saturday,  Dec.  10, 7 to 9 p.m. It will be closed Sunday but will reopen Monday, Dec. 12, and run through Friday, Dec. 16. Weekday hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  and 4 to 7 p.m. Businesses, organizations and individuals in the community are invited to display their decorated Christmas trees for the public to view. Set-up dates are Dec. 8 and 9, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Applications can be picked up in the parish office at 311 S. Central Ave. in Safford.

This event is offered free of charge by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. There will be food and boutique items available to purchase.
