SAFFORD — The Gila Valley Farmers Market wants to help residents develop their green thumbs.
A Plant Your Garden event will take place at the Graham County Chamber of Commerce this weekend.
“We’re going to have soil and seeds,” said Vance Bryce, Chamber executive director. “Everyone show up to the Chamber parking lot and we’re going to do a plant-a-thon.”
The event will take place Saturday, Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon and planting will focus on summer gardens. Participants are encouraged to bring seeds for a seed exchange.
