THATCHER — Thatcher Fire Department is hosting an open house at its fire station Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 6-8 p.m.
Visitors will have a chance to see how fire fighters train, as well as experience a smoke room, spray water from a hose and the kids can meet Sparky, the department’s mascot.
The Eastern Arizona College Cheer squad will offer face painting, and hot dogs and drinks will be available for free.
The Fire Department is located at 1150 N. College Ave.
