SAN CARLOS — A 32-year-old woman was taken into custody after she allegedly struck a pedestrian with her vehicle and then running the vehicle into a house.
San Carlos Apache Police report the incident occurred on White Mountain Avenue on the reservation, the evening of July 11.
After striking the pedestrian, the woman’s vehicle crashed into a home, seriously injuring two more people. The woman and a passenger in her vehicle were also injured in the crash.
The woman is facing multiple charges, including 15 counts of endangerment, seven counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, six counts of aggravated assault, and five counts each of assault and battery, as well as fleeing the scene of an accident and aggravated DUI.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
