SAFFORD — The Graham County Chamber of Commerce announced Monday the election of new officers and president to the Chamber Board of Directors.

Nicholas Nordgrän-Tellez, owner of La Paloma restaurant, was elected president; Corina Pino-Reyes, of  Valley TeleCom Group, was elected vice president; and Torey Cranford, business analyst for the Eastern Arizona College Small Business Development Center, was elected treasurer.

Additionally, the nominations committee appointed Isaac Morris from Mann Mortgage to his first three-year term, and Cranford to her second three-year term.

The elections took place during the Chamber Board’s annual training and organizational meeting Wednesday, Jan. 18.

Nordgrän-Tellez outlined his priorities for the year, including refocusing Chamber efforts on membership programs.

“I would like to see more minority owned businesses joining our ranks as well as grow the Chamber services to the business community,” Nordgrän-Tellez said.

The Board also held a discussion on how to better communicate the benefits of being a member of the Chamber, and to again begin holding regular networking events.
