PIMA — The “scariest event in the Gila Valley” begins Friday.

For the third year in a row, Eastern Arizona Museum and Historical Society will host the Fright at the Museum haunted house.

“We divide the old Carter Farm Museum into a maze, and then we have community members take the different sections of that maze. So this year we have 14 sections,” Clint Woods, museum board member.

The haunted house will take place the next two Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 22-23 and Oct. 29-30, from 7-9 p.m. each night.

Cost is $5 per person and tickets are available at the door. All funds are used to upgrade and maintain the museum.

In addition, Desert Spirit Seekers will be at the museum during the haunted house, taking sign-ups to join them as they conduct paranormal investigations throughout the Gila Valley.
