PHOENIX — Freeport-McMoRan wants to know what people have to say about the Morenci and Safford operations.
Freeport has launched the Local Voices Survey online, to solicit input on Freeport’s role in the area.
“The insights gained will help guide how Freeport supports, invests and engages with local communities,” the survey states.
The survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete, and asks basic demographic questions, then about which operation the respondent is most familiar.
Questions include thoughts on how Freeport protects the environment, how it communicates with the public, and how its grants have impacted the area, among others.
Participation can be anonymous, or those who give their contact information can be entered into a drawing for one of three $250 gift cards.
