GRAHAM COUNTY — A new scam is making the rounds — callers claiming delinquent Amazon accounts.
A resident contacted Graham County Sheriff’s Office to report the repeated calls. She said she was told to pay funds or her Amazon account would fall into delinquency.
The woman said she did not give any information to the caller and deputies advised her to block the number.
The Arizona Attorney General’s Office advises residents that no personal or financial information should be shared with any unsolicited caller. In addition, do not give permission to a caller requesting to remote control a computing device.
