Still time to get ducks for the Big Quack

CLIFTON — The Big Quack is coming back.

Greenlee County Tourism Council is hosting the Big Quack rubber duck race Saturday, June 4, as a fund-raiser.

Just after 1 p.m., the ducks will be dumped into the San Francisco River from the Zorilla Street Bridge, and float downstream to the finish line. Owners of the ducks that cross first will win what the Greenlee Tourism Council calls “cash prizes,” although the amounts of the prizes were not defined.

Cost of the ducks is $10 each, or three for $25, and can be purchased at Enter Ducks in the Big Quack Duck Race – Greenlee Arizona Tourism (visitgreenleecounty.com).
