Star Wars Day is May the 4th at the Safford Library

May the Fourth be with you. The Safford City-Graham County Library will proudly be hosting Star Wars Day on Thursday, May 4.  This is an all-day event with fun for the whole family.  Everyone is welcome to come in costume or just drop by to share in the activities. Star Wars-themed books, movies and audiobooks will be available for check-out.

Events include:

10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Are you a Jedi or a Sith questionaire, Star Wars Creature Quiz for teens and adults, Star Wars-themed photo booths and displays

10:30 a.m.

Star Wars-themed Toddler Time

2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Two free movie screenings of Rogue One: A Star Wars story

3-4 p.m.

Star Wars-themed Lego Club

3-6 p.m.

Star Wars crafts for children, including coloring Star Wars bookmarks and making Yoda ears or Princess Leia’s iconic hairstyle.

3:30-5:30 p.m.

Meet and take pictures with some of your favorite Star Wars characters, including storm troopers, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Maul and, of course, Darth Vader.
