Sharon K. Isaacson, age 84 and a resident of Safford, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Haven of Safford, with her daughter, Dianna, at her side.
Sharon was born July 21, 1938, in Republic County, Kansas, the daughter of Ruth Nelson and Hubert Spear. She grew up in the little farming community of Belleville, Kansas, later marrying Ike Isaacson. They were married May 22, 1960. To this union were joined three children, Carol, Dianna and Daniel. In 1970, Sharon and Ike relocated their family to Arizona, making their home in Safford. Throughout her lifetime Sharon was devoted to her Savior Jesus Christ and to her faith. She was an active parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where she dedicated numerous hours to those in need including singing in the choir.
Sharon leaves behind: her two daughters, Carol DeSpain (Art Arvizu) and Dianna Isaacson; her grandchildren, Amber Isaacson (William Gilliam), Kirsten DeSpain, Breanna DeSpain (Lorenzo Moreno), Kerri DeSpain, Clayton Isaacson, Joanna Virga and Whyatt Isaacson; her great-grandchildren, William Isaacson, Chloe Isaacson, Hailey Moreno, Sophia and Myah; two nieces, Barbra Morgan Shunn and Cathy Morgan Spangler; Ike Isaacson (Virginia Bridgewater) and numerous friends. Sharon was predeceased by: her son, Daniel; her mother, Ruth Elvira Nelson Spear; her father, Hubert Paul Spear; her sister, Joan Morgan; and her brother, Billy Moon.
Graveside services for Sharon are currently pending and will be announced at a later date.
