Too fast for a turn results in driver’s injury

GRAHAM COUNTY — A driver was transported to Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center with head wounds after she reportedly failed to negotiate a turn.

The incident occurred on Bryce-Eden Road. The passenger of the vehicle told Graham County Sheriff’s deputies the driver was traveling at about 50 miles per hour when she tried to make a turn. She lost control and vehicle went off the road.

The passenger was uninjured but the driver suffered a laceration to the left side of her head. The passenger also said the driver failed to recognize him after the crash.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
