SAFFORD — The Safford Police Department is currently undergoing an assessment through the Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP).
As part of the process, community feedback is being gathered to help evaluate the department’s service and ensure the department continues meeting professional standards.
“We encourage comments — commendations or concerns — about our compliance with ALEAP standards, community engagement, delivery of public safety services, and our continued pursuit of accredited status. The intent of the accreditation process is to support continuous improvement and promote professional excellence throughout our department,” Safford Police officials wrote in the announcement.
Feedback may be submitted by going to https://azleap.org/community-feedback/.
It should be noted that ALEAP is not an investigatory body, and there will be no direct response to a submittal other than acknowledgment of receipt.
