SAFFORD — The Safford Lions Club announced this year’s Community Mental Health Awareness Run will take place Saturday, Oct. 23, at Eastern Arizona College’s Discovery Park Campus.
Both a 5k and a 10k will be offered and advanced registration is $25 per person, or $20 per person in a group of four or more. Day of run registration is $30 per person.
Medals will be awarded for top three male and female finishers in six different age groups, as well as the six best costumed runners.
All proceeds from the event will used for local mental health services.
