SAFFORD — Showing off a great car can help take care of veterans.

Taylor Freeze is seeking entries for its second annual car show, Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its Safford location.

The car show is a fund-raiser for Mission 22, which offers support and treatment programs to veterans for post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury, as well as connecting veterans and civilians to raise awareness of the issues facing vets as they return home.

Early-bird registration for the car show is $25 through Oct. 1, and $30 through Oct. 16. Registration includes a shirt, dash plaque and a goodie bag.

Trophies will be awarded for the Top 15 judged vehicles, best of show, spectator’s choice, kid’s choice, host choice and furthest traveled to the show.

For more information or to register, go to Taylor Freeze at 3922 S. Highway 191.
