About the Monkey’s Paw
The Monkey’s Paw was written by W.W. Jacobs in 1902. The short story was originally published in England in the collection, The Lady of the Barge. In the story, an elderly man comes into the possession of a monkey’s paw that grants three wishes to its owner. The wishes, however, come at an enormous price.
