SAFFORD — How about a little excitement this Memorial Day weekend?
The Gila Valley Paintball Club announced its next event will take place Saturday at Cluff Dairy on Mount Graham.
Experienced players and amateurs alike are encouraged to join in, and there will be extra gear available for those trying paintball for the first time. The only requirement is that all players bring a box of paintballs.
The event gets underway at 8:30 a.m. and will run until 3 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring water and a sack lunch.
The Gila Valley Paintball Club stages games designed around new players, with experienced players there to help. All games are played in Safford and Thatcher and the club meets one to two times each month.
