Gila Valley Pride is June 1

SAFFORD — Plans are coming together for this year’s Gila Valley Pride event.

Pride Month will kick-off with the Gila Valley Pride Festival Saturday, June 1, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the Ag Building at Graham County Fairgrounds.

The event will feature food trucks and local vendors, live music and more, including Tarot Readings with Amber and drag performances

The highlight will be the Gila Valley Pride Royalty Competition, with contestants judged on talent, interview skills and fund-raising.

The Gila Valley Pride Festival is described by organizers as a chance to “Celebrate love, diversity, and community,” and as “a fun-filled day of music, food, and acceptance for all.”
