Temporary detour will begin June 15, 2026
As construction begins on the new Mayor Jason Kouts Park, a section of the City of Safford Multi-Use Trail will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of trail users and construction crews.
To help you continue enjoying the trail, temporary detour signage will be posted directing users along an alternate route that will reconnect to the loop around the cemetery.
The City of Safford requests patience and cooperation as they work to bring this exciting new community park to Safford. Please follow all posted signs and use caution when traveling through the area.
