Lions bring back Cowboy Christmas

SAFFORD — For the 43rd year, Cowboy Christmas returns to the Gila Valley, courtesy of the Safford Lions Club.

Cowboy Christmas features more than 60 vendors inside the Ag Building at Graham County Fairgrounds, with more — including food vendors — outside.

“One of our rules is, it’s supposed to be handmade; a personal craft,” said Chris Gibbs with the Lions Club.

Vendors include handmade jewelry; crafts; crochet; art, leather and metal work; and more.

“Really, it’s a traditional place for (people) to get those special Christmas presents, that you can’t necessarily find somewhere else,” Gibbs said.

Cowboy Christmas is open Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
