SAFFORD — The Graham County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to The Meeting Room-803 ribbon-cutting and vendor event Saturday, Nov. 26.
The vendor event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the ribbon-cutting for the opening of the business will be at 2 p.m.
“We have a nice open space at the front of our building that is getting very little use. We felt that our community could utilize the room for small gatherings or events,” said business owner Sarah Bingham. “The Meeting Room will bring three businesses to the location at 803 W. Thatcher Boulevard. This includes Get A Grip Resurfacing and The Little Upholstery Shop, operating at the back of the building.”
During the vendor event and ribbon-cutting, The Meeting Room-803 will be giving out 40 canvas bags to shoppers throughout the day. Prior to the event, Bingham said she is reaching out to businesses and asking for promotional items to put in the bags in the hopes to help others buy local. Promotional items can include coupons or gifts.
As the shopper continues their day, they may take the bag around and receive multiple shopping deals if other businesses would like to be included.
