Graham County at 236 cases of COVID-19, San Carlos Apache Tribe at 261

SAFFORD — Graham County recorded 15 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday while the San Carlos Apache Tribe added another nine.

The Graham County Health Department reported that eight of the new cases are from Safford, three from Thatcher four from the San Carlos Apache reservation.

Fifty-one of the 236 cases in Graham County have recovered, 181 are active and there have been four deaths.

The San Carlos Apache Tribe reports that 261 tribal members have tested positive — 237 on the reservation and 24 off — with 164 recovered, 91 cases still active and six deaths.

Greenlee County added one new case Wednesday, bringing the county’s total to 38. Twelve have recovered, there are 25 active cases and one death.
