Fred Campbell Keir, 76, of Safford passed away on January 22, 2021, with his loving wife at his side. Fred was born on April 26, 1944, in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Leslie A. Keir & Hazel Bradley Keir with siblings Leslie Dale Keir, and Carol Keir.
Fred joined the US Navy in 1963 and served as a Farrier. He was blessed with the births of his children from a previous marriage; Hannah, Adam, Samuel, Jedidiah, Camilla, and Benjamin. On July 4, 1992, he married Carol Marie Pett. He enjoyed hunting whitetail deer, and shooting his rifle and his bow.
He is survived by his wife Carol Keir, his children Hannah Keir, Adam (Rebecca) Keir, Samuel (Jennifer) Keir, Jedidiah Keir, his siblings Leslie Dale (Betty) Keir, and Carol Reed, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Leslie & Hazel Keir, his daughter Camilla Crane, his son Benjamin Keir, and two grandchildren Seth & Samantha.
