WILLCOX — The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for nightly detours on east- and westbound Interstate 10 at the junction of the south U.S. Highway 191 traffic interchange, between mileposts 331 and 332, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.  starting Monday, March 18, and continuing through Friday, March 22

The detours are required while crews demolish the existing bridge which was damaged and closed following a fatal single-vehicle crash in May 2023.

The following detours will be in place during work hours:

  • Westbound drivers will be detoured to a temporary road to pass through the area,
  • Eastbound drivers will use the off- and on-ramps to navigate the area.
