The 2021 Volleyball season is under way as the Eastern Arizona College Gila Monsters competed in the New Mexico Military Institute Tournament in Roswell, NM.
on Friday the Monsters lost to #13 Navarro College 23-25, 26-28, 16-25 and lost to #9 Tyler JC 25-19, 18-25, 19-25, 25-29, and 6-15.
They wrapped up day two in the NMMI Tournament going 1-1. They defeated Vernon College 25-11, 25-11, 26-28, 25-18 and lost to NMMI 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 10-15.
The Monsters travel to Yuma to participate in the Arizona Western Tournament on August 26-28.
