THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College will host a hearing of the Arizona House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015, in the Lee Little Theater of the College’s Activities Center, located on the southwest corner of Highway 70 and College Avenue, in Thatcher.
The forum, chaired by Chairman Rick Gray, will focus on transportation challenges and opportunities in rural Arizona and is sponsored by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Arizona Chapter of the Associated General Contractors, and local community leaders.
“An efficient transportation system is vital to growing Arizona’s economy,” explained Chairman Gray. “I am pleased to have Eastern Arizona College as one of our partners in improving the state’s transportation needs.”
“EAC is pleased to host this forum and to be part of the important conversation regarding transportation issues in eastern Arizona,” said Eastern Arizona College President Mark Bryce.
The public is invited and will be allowed to testify as time allows.
