The City of Safford will be repairing and replacing waterlines and valves at the intersection of Church St and 1st Ave next week, June 17th – 21st. During this time the intersection will be closed to all traffic. Please plan accordingly.
This represents the final work the City of Safford will be doing on Church Street. Starting in August, the Town of Thatcher will be working with a contractor to remove all existing asphalt, curb, gutter and sidewalk on Church Street and will be building an all new road. This project is scheduled to end in February of 2020.
