SAFFORD — While the Eastern Arizona Old Time Fiddle Contest, scheduled for February, has been postponed to 2022, the March Bridal Fair event is still moving forward . . . for now.
“It is very tentative right now,” said Torey Cranford, Bridal Fair organizer and board member of the Graham County Chamber of Commerce. “We’re waiting on approval and permits, as always with any event.”
The sixth annual Gila Valley Bridal and Event Fair is planned for Safford’s Main Street on March 6. The event includes vendors that serve weddings and other events, including bakers, dress makers, equipment rentals, disc jockeys and more.
This year the plan is to include a home show as part of the event, which will include builders and remodelers, furniture dealers and landscapers among others.
