Brandon Librado Carrera was born in Safford, AZ on February 27, 1990, to Jesse Carrera and Sally Holguin, and was the youngest of Sally’s four children. Brandon grew up in Safford and attended Safford schools. Later, Brandon moved to Gilbert, AZ and lived with his brother Jason for several years while working in the restaurant industry. Eventually he moved back to Safford where he continued his work within restaurants and was well known for being an extraordinary worker.
In 2019 Brandon became a first-time father and from that point forward his sole focus in life was to be a good dad. Brandon absolutely adored being a father and his most cherished moments were when he was spending time and caring for his son.
Brandon entered into rest on March 6, 2024. He is preceded in death by: his mother, Sally; father, Jesse; uncles, Patrick, Librado, Edward, and Manuel.
Brandon is survived by: his son, Nathaniel; grandmother, Cresencia “Ginger”; siblings, Melanie, Luz Jr. (wife Shambra), Jason (wife Judy); aunts, Jenny, Rita (husband Peter); as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Brandon’s heart was filled with love for his family and close personal friends; and the hearts of his family and friends continue to be filled with love for him. He will forever be remembered and sadly missed.
A memorial service for Brandon is currently pending for Saturday, April 20, 2024.
