Graham County communications received a call this morning at approximately 10:03 reporting a vehicle that was overturned and off the road at 7900 block of E. Sanchez Road. Graham County Sheriff’s Office and Safford and DPS personnel responded.
Authorities found was a compact vehicle turned over in an area of Mesquite trees between two residents on the south side of Sanchez Road. A male victim was found deceased inside the vehicle. The victim was removed from the vehicle with the assistance of the Safford Fire Department. An autopsy will be performed by the Pima County Medical Examiner as part of the investigation.
The Graham County Sheriff’s Office along with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) are continuing the investigation.
