SAFFORD — Tuesday is Arizona Gives Day and four local nonprofit organizations are hoping for your support.
Gives Day encourages Arizona residents to support their local nonprofit organizations via online donation.
Participating this year are: Desert Cat Rescue & Sanctuary of Arizona, Our Neighbor’s Farm and Pantry, Boys & Girls Club of the Gila Valley, and Gila Watershed Partnership. Two of those — Our Neighbor’s Farm and Pantry, Boys & Girls Club of the Gila Valley — also qualify for state tax credit.
Gives Day was created by the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits in 2013 and has raised more than $23 million for nonprofit organizations statewide since its inception, with a record $6.1 million raised last year.
