GRAHAM COUNTY — A downed powerline is believed to be the cause of a mobile home fire.
The incident occurred Monday, April 20, at about 3:45 p.m. at a mobile home on Cheyenne Drive. Safford Fire Department responded to the structure fully engulfed by fire, and was able to extinguish the blaze before it spread to neighboring structures.
The property owner told Graham County Sheriff’s deputies that a person was living in the mobile home, but had been gone for hours and was not there when the fire started.
Safford Fire officials told deputies there were no indications of arson.
