No new COVID-19 cases in Graham, Greenlee counties

SAFFORD – Graham County Health Department released the latest data from COVID-19 testing Monday and the number of confirmed cases in the county remains at two.

There have been 35 tests administered in Graham County thus far, with 15 coming back negative. Eighteen tests results are still pending. Tests results are usually returned in three to five days.

The county reports that it is suffering a shortage in tests, and are limiting the tests to the “sickest people with suspicious symptoms for COVID-19.”

Meanwhile, Greenlee County is still reporting no cases of COVID-19.

The county has tested 23 with nine coming back negative. Fourteen test results are pending.

There is no cure and health officials are telling those who test to self-isolate with plenty of fluids and over-the-counter medicines, regardless of test results.
