Eva Kathleen Lunt, 59 of Thatcher, Arizona, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Thatcher, Arizona. Kathy was born January 31, 1958, to Leonard and Eva Ingram in Greenville, Texas.
Kathy graduated from Morenci High School. After graduation, she met the love of her life, Harvey Odin Lunt, Jr. They were married on March 31, 1977, in Morenci.
During her life, Kathy worked at the Thatcher Unified School District cafeteria, at Bashas’ as a baker and finally, for almost 15 years, she worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Kathy loved going to Laughlin, camping and fishing. Most of all, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and an aunt.
She is preceded in death by: her mother, Eva; her stepmother, Virginia; her father, Leonard; and her beloved soulmate and husband, Harvey Odin Lunt, Jr.
Kathy is survived by: her son, Harvey (Paula) Lunt III; daughter, Crystal Lunt; five grandchildren, Erika, Kaylee, Donna, Brennen and Nathan, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; her brothers, Charles (Gail) Ingram, Michael R (Pam) Ingram, William “Bill” (Shirley) Ingram and Michael Earl Ingram; and sisters, Cynthia (Michael) Chavez and Brenda Ingram.
A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley,” by Dr. Phil Tutor. Arrangements are entrusted to Vining Funeral Home.
