Charles B. Pratt, 81, of Thatcher entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was born February 18, 1935 to William H. & Gertrude N. Pratt in Charlestown, MA.
He joined the U.S. Navy at age 17 and was stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict, upon his return to the United States, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ until 1960.
Charles was a longtime resident of the Gila Valley, serving as Director of Electrical Services for the City of Safford until his retirement in 1990.
He is survived by his wife Rosalie McClelland, daughter Donna (Mike) Canaday, grandchildren; Kurt (Jenna) Camargo, (great granddaughter Mya), Kevin (Alyssa) Camargo, Kodie Canaday, son Mark (Michelle) Pratt, grandchildren Nina (Dean) & Austin, step-daughter Karen (Bert) French, grandchildren; Kelly (Bru) Montez, Jeremiah French, Brooke (Josh) Lucas, and great grandchildren; Cameron Humphrey, Kaitlyn (Brian) Mazzini (great-great grandbaby Abelyn), Ashley, Mason & Madison French, Manuel, Elijah, Jacey, Chloe & Cody Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents William & Gertrude Pratt and his first wife Cara Lee Brown.
