WILLCOX — Gila Valley motorists traveling to Tucson may experience some delays this weekend.
Both east- and westbound Interstate 10 near the west side of Willcox will be closed while crews pour concrete for a new bridge deck.
All traffic will be directed off I-10 at Exit 336 and will re-enter I-10 using the on-ramps.
Work is scheduled between 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, and 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23.
The weekend closure is one of several planned during the project to replace the bridge deck over I-10.
Drivers should proceed with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
