William V. “Bullet” Morales, Sr

William V. “Bullet” Morales, Sr., entered eternal life on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Safford, Arizona, at the age of 80.

“Bullet” was born January 20, 1942, in Bisbee, Arizona, to Rafaela and Roman Morales. William married the love of his life, his Vida, Connie Valenzuela, February 24, 1962. They were married a beautiful 60 years.

As a young adult, “Bullet” began working with the Phelps Dodge Mine in Bisbee. He continued his 38-year career with them in Morenci and Safford.

“Bullet” loved the Arizona Cardinals and University of Arizona football, but most of all he enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play their sports. He was always their biggest supporter.

For William, his greatest joy was spending his time with his Vida and his family. Through his life, he taught us honesty, to love unconditionally, work hard, and enjoy the simple things in life.

William is survived by: his wife, Connie V. Morales; children, Esther (Vince) Barela, Terri (Scott) Warner, William Morales, Jr., and Cyndee (Troy) Fellger; brother, Frank (Hope) Morales; he also has 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews all whom he loved very much. “Bullet” will be missed by all.

William is welcomed into Heaven by: his granddaughter, Chloe; his parents; his brothers and sisters; and many other family and friends. We can only imagine the celebration he had awaiting him.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for “Bullet” will be celebrated Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Nicodemus Shaghel.

Following Mass, the family will receive friends at a luncheon offered in the bereavement hall.
