SAFFORD — The Gila Valley Adventure Club is heading back up Mount Graham.
The Adventure Club, which invites local residents to explore the entertainment and recreational opportunities available in the Gila Valley, will camp at Soldier Creek on Friday and Saturday.
Campers can participate in a “sticks and stones” fire-making challenge, with prizes for those who can start a fire that lasts at least 10 minutes.
There is a $20 fee per spot. Call 612-325-1549 to reserve a spot.
In August, the Adventure Club heads indoors, for a round of bowling at Safford Bowl.
