SAFFORD — There were 13 new cases of coronavius over the weekend, with most of those cases originating in Thatcher.
Graham County Health Department reported five cases Saturday and one case Sunday were discovered in Thatcher, while Safford saw four cases Saturday and one Sunday. There were also two cases on the San Carlos Apache reservation on Saturday.
Pima saw no cases over the weekend.
That brings Graham County’s total to 940, with 173 of the cases considered active and 26 deaths.
After going more than 40 days without a new case, Greenlee County now has six new cases through the first 10 days of October.
Greenlee County Health Department reported two new cases Friday, the second day in a row with two new cases.
That brings Greenlee County’s total to 62, with six active and two deaths.
