PHOENIX — The most recent voter registration data released by the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office Thursday shows the number of voters in Graham and Greenlee counties increasing by small amounts.
The number of registered voters in Graham County climbed by 78 between January and April, to 21,096. An increase of four-tenths of 1 percent.
Republicans make up the majority of Graham County’s voters, at 10,993, up 39 from January; followed by independents at 5,417, up 36; and Democrats at 4,419, down 19.
In Greenlee County, the number of registered voters increased by three-tenths of 1 percent between January and April, to 4,791.
Again, Republicans are the dominant group of voters, at 1,934, up 15 from January; followed by independents at 1,510, up 19; and Democrats at 1,260, down 25.

Cochise County, which shares both state Legislative and Congressional districts with Graham and Greenlee counties, saw a decrease in the number of voters, falling by seven-tenths of 1 percent to 82,261.
Statewide, the voter rolls declined by 546, to 4.5 million. Republicans dropped by 1,101 to 1.6 million. Meanwhile Democrats dropped by almost 10,921 voters to 1.3 million, while independents increased by 10,311 to 1.51 million.
