Traffic between Pima and Safford virtually unchanged for last three years

SAFFORD — U.S. Highway 70, between Pima and Safford, saw an average of 336.35 cars per day in 2025.

That’s according to the Annual Average Daily Traffic counts issued by ADOT.

The busiest intersection was at East Hollywood Road in Safford, with an average of 340.89 cars per day, while the intersection with the lowest volume was South 300 West in Pima, with 330.54 cars per day.

The traffic count is unchanged from 2024 and barely increased from 2023.

In 2024, U.S. Highway 70 between Pima and Safford averaged the same 336.35 cars per day, while the average in 2023 was 336.30 vehicles per day.
