SAFFORD – The Safford-City Graham County Library’s summer reading program has scheduled an end-of-summer party. Having scraped together a large chunk of its funding, the event will feature a professional puppet show.
The Great Arizona Puppet Show Theater will perform for children ages birth to 5 on July 27. The show is free and will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Those who do not have children enrolled in the reading program are also welcome to attend.
The Great Arizona Puppet Show Theater is based in Phoenix and sports a collection more than 50 different shows, including classic fairy tales, original stories and educational programs.
Library staff encourages parents to mark the date on their calendars so they don’t miss an unforgettable experience.
