THATCHER – Second-year Thatcher head football coach Sean Hinton has his team pumped up to start the season. After losing the first three games out of four last season before sweeping its last six to finish 7-3, Hinton has his players prepared for immediate battle this year.
The Eagles’ first test will be an away game versus the Willcox Cowboys on Friday before facing the Benson Bobcats in its home opener Aug. 26 at Eastern Arizona College’s John T. Mickelson Field.
