Ted L. Ferrin

Ted L. Ferrin, of Pima, entered life eternal, September 27, 2023, at Essential Patient Care, in Central Arizona, surrounded by family. Ted was 88.

Ted Ferrin was born November 19, 1934, in Pima, Arizona to Melvin and Pearl Eldredge Ferrin. He grew up in and around Arizona. Ted married the love of his life Judith Cates on January 17, 1958, in Portsmouth, Virginia and was later sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She was his eternal sweetheart.

They are the parents of five children. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.

Ted was in the general contracting business in the Gila Valley for almost 50 years. He served on the Pima Town Council for 6 years and as the Mayor of Pima from 1974 to 1976.

Ted will be missed by his family and all who loved him. He is survived by his five children, Terri Connolly (Keven) of Queen Creek, Kevin Ferrin (Brenda) of Owasso, OK, Robyn Ferrin of Pima, Jeff Ferrin (Michelle) of Safford and Michele Johnson (Robert) of Pima, his siblings Derald Ferrin, Keith Ferrin, and sister Coleen Snider. Ted was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Pearl Ferrin, and his loving wife Judith Ferrin, his brothers Verle, Larry, and Stan and his granddaughter Brittany Ferrin, and his grandson Jason Connolly. Ted and Judy were blessed with fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren with more great grandchildren to join the family soon.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning, October 5, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at the Pima Chapel Primary Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pima Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services for Ted will be conducted Thursday morning, October 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Pima Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Concluding services with military honors conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the Pima Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning, October 5, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at the Pima Chapel Junior Sunday School Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
