SAFFORD — Arizona Game and Fish and Southeastern Arizona Sportsmen Club are teaming once again to teach local youths safe hunting skills.
A Youth Deer Seminar will take place Tuesday, Sept. 29, starting at 5 p.m. in the Graham County General Services Building.
“There again, we have Game and Fish there, they put the seminar on. The Sportsman Club, we feed everybody,” said Tim Linden with Southeastern Arizona Sportsmen Club. “It’s usually about an hour, hour-and-a-half long, all the youth members win a prize and one lucky youth member will win a new deer rifle.”
The seminar is open to all youths ages 10-17.

The Southeastern Arizona Sportsmen Club is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that focuses on the conservation of wildlife, habitat and natural resources. The club participates in many habitat improvement projects in southeastern Arizona, public seminars, hunter education and gun safety classes, fund-raising benefits, and works with many other local nonprofit groups and organizations in the community.
