SAFFORD — Desert Cat Rescue and Sanctuary is making pet spay and neuter vouchers available.
Safford residents can get the vouchers thanks to a $5,000 grant from the City of Safford, approved by the Safford City Council in November.
For residents in other parts of Graham County, the vouchers are funded by the specialty pet license plates offered by the Motor Vehicle Division of Arizona Department of Transportation. The plates help fund spay and neuter programs across the state.
The vouchers are good for $90 for dogs and $50 for cats.
To obtain a voucher, go to desertcatrescue.org and select Safford residents only or outside of the City of Safford. An active phone number is required to receive a voucher.
