PHOENIX — Graham County is up to two cases of influenza this season.
Arizona Department of Health Services reports the second case was diagnosed the week of Nov. 4 and is a case of Influenza A in a person aged 65 or older.
Graham County has had two cases since the start of the 2020-21 flu season Oct. 14. The other case is Influenza B in a person between the ages of 19 and 49.
Graham County typically sees most of its cases between the start of December and the end of February, with the peak occurring mid-January.
Statewide, there have been 56 cases of flu thus far, with 20 of the cases being Influenza A, 34 are Influenza B and two are of an unknown strain.
Greenlee County has not yet experienced a case of flu.
