SBDC’s Start Up Smart being offering in four locations

THATCHER — The Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College announced two more opportunities to take part in the free Start Up Smart program for new business owners.

The program will be offered in Greenlee County on Jan. 11, at the EAC campus in Thatcher on Jan. 13, at the EAC campus in Payson on Jan. 19 and at Gila Pueblo College in Globe on Jan. 20.  The program runs from 6-8 p.m. each day.

SBDC Director Kevin Peck, Greenlee Business Analyst Sandra Robinson and Gila/Globe Business Analyst Sarah Alexander will help aspiring entrepreneurs learn the basics about starting a business, how to avoid the top eight situations that cause a business to fail, and how to find and take advantage of resources available to start-up businesses.
